When thinking of a boudoir session, you may be a little scared. I get asked lots of questions when talking to women about booking their boudoir session. So I wanted to come up with the 12 most commonly asked questions about Massachusetts Boudoir Photography to give you some insight for when preparing for a session with me!

Do you share my images?

This is a big one and asked most often. My number one priority is making sure my clients are comfortable. Massachusetts Boudoir Photography is an intimate experience. You may not be super comfortable sharing your body with the world and that’s absolutely okay. My number one priority is your comfort and privacy. I love sharing my art with the world, but only of the clients who are absolutely comfortable with that. Often times, my clients just allow me to use their photos in my private women only Facebook community!

Do I have to wear lingerie?

You do not need to wear lingerie for you session. Boudoir is about embracing your body and feeling beautiful and you don’t have to do that just wearing lacy little pieces. Some clients bring a sweater with a cheeky bottom for an adorable sexy look.

 

Do you offer payment plans for Massachusetts Boudoir Photography?

I do! I offer a pre-pay plan where we will schedule your session a few months out and we will set up a payment plan of monthly installments before your session. Then when you come in for your Massachusetts Boudoir Photography session, you’re all set!

Is hair and makeup included?

Yes! Professional hair and makeup is included with every session! I think being pampered is a huge part of the experience I provide and professional hair and makeup helps complete the look! We can provide any look you are going for whether it be “i just woke up like this” or full on glam!

Do you photoshop my images?

I do edit each image for light and color balance. I also smooth your skin to enhance your beauty! I will also remove any scars or marks you may be uncomfortable with. I do not however change body shapes as boudoir is all about accepting the women you are and embracing your gorgeous body. We talk about the parts of your body that you are more uncomfortable with and I am skilled at posing and lighting to make you look your absolute best.

Where should I buy outfits?

There’s so many options depending on what you are looking for style-wise for your Massachusetts Boudoir Photography session. I love Adore Me, Hips and Curves, Torrid, and Shein. If you are looking for something specific, let me know and i can help! I also have an extensive client wardrobe with sizes from xs-4xl.

What type of print products do you offer?

I offer a variety of beautiful albums, gorgeous glass boxes with prints in them, and metal prints. My clients love their albums most of all. They have a stunning book of these gorgeous images that will last forever. ” I seriously can’t believe how beautiful this album is, I cannot wait to give it to my husband on his birthday!” – Melissa when receiving her album from her boudoir shoot.

Do you offer digitals?

All of my packages include some kind of tangible print product. Most of my packages also include digital images.

“I’m freaking out, how do I calm my nerves”

It’s completely normal to feel nervous, especially if you haven’t done a boudoir session before. The nerves you feel in the beginning slowly disappear as hair and makeup finishes and you get into your first outfit! I’ll have you laughing and strutting around the studio in no time! The nerves in the beginning make the “wow factor” when you see you final images that much better!

How many outfits should I bring?

I typically recommend 3-5 outfits that you love! I have a big client wardrobe for. you to wear anything you like as well. I always have you bring a few things you know fits and you love and some sexy heels.

 

Should I get to my Massachusetts Boudoir Photography shoot early?

Being a few minutes early is great, so we can chat about your hair and makeup looks as well as get out your outfits and plan what you’ll wear first!

Where is your studio located?

I am located in West Boylston, right off rt 140 and 190.
